This concert of brilliant and enlightening songs about biodiversity,
for audiences of all ages, included topics such as:
how biodiversity is created and lost, each of the biological kingdoms,
a tribute to E.O. Wilson, a medley written by Cambridge Public School students,
and a mini-opera composed by local kids with guidance from Boston Lyric Opera!
This unique intergenerational chorus was accompanied
by a slideshow of lyrics and children’s artwork.
Music and Lyrics by: Andrea Gaudette, David Haines, Bruce Lazarus,
Lauren Mayer, Jill Pelavin, Molly Ruggles, and Graham Treacher
Directed by Laura Backley
