Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 PM: Peabody School, 70 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge

This world premiere science oratorio consists of works by four contemporary composers writing in various musical styles offering different perspectives on Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. Under the direction of Lynne Carter, the North Cambridge Family Opera Festival Chorus, an intergenerational chorus of 100 adults and children, will sing selections from:

  • "Darwin Live" by Richard Milner
  • "Lifetime: Songs of Life and Evolution" by David Haines
  • "Darwin’s Dream" by Graham Treacher
  • "Science Curriculum Rocks" by Lauren Mayer
