The North Cambridge Family Opera Company presented its 2000 production of the light-hearted "Space Opera" on May 13 and 14, and May 20 and 21 at the Benjamin Banneker Charter School in North Cambridge, Mass. The first two performances were part of the North Cambridge (NoCa) All Arts Open Studios Weekend.
This light-hearted yet musically sophisticated opera features everyone's favorite robots, aliens, and heroes. The 2-act opera draws on a variety of popular and classical styles, with appeal to audiences of all ages.
